QA Coordinator
The QA Content Coordinator will work cross-functionally with other Integrity teams, including Production Development, Content, Customization, Design, and Content Strategy, to ensure online content meets the Company’s high quality standards. The ideal candidate for this position will come from a liberal arts background, preferably English or Journalism related, with a demonstrable interest and aptitude for internet technologies.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility is to assure the quality of Integrity’s extensive web-based course library by ensuring the accuracy of content in format and appearance. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Review online products for content accuracy and usability;
- Ensure products are within total quality management limits and standards;
- Lead the quality planning and scheduling to assure that developed products meet content guidelines;
- Prepare content related documentation;
- Responsible for hands-on participation of quality assurance tasks;
- Work collaboratively with other Company departments including Client Services, Product Marketing and Development to establish priorities and schedules;
- Lead QA tasks with cross-functional teams including internal course writers, proofreaders, developers, and application developers;
- Coordinate schedules and priorities for external contract proofreaders; and
- Complete additional projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
This is an entry level position that requires a bachelor’s degree. A solid background in proofreading and editing is desired, though not required if degree is in English or Journalism. Knowledge of foreign languages is a plus but not a requirement. The successful candidate will have the following skills:
- Critical attention to detail, while managing multiple tasks/projects within tight timeframes and maintaining accuracy is required;
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required; must be able to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical team members;
- Experiences leading projects or teams are preferred, but not required;
- Solid grasp of grammar and punctuation skills are essential;
- Knowledge of Chicago Manual of Style and ability to consistently uphold it across product lines;
- Web and tech savvy including proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel, is required;
- Experience and knowledge of IE, Firefox, and Windows is preferred;
- Some familiarity with HTML and XML is a plus;
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, small-team environment with the ability to work independently and with the team; and
- Understand and support the Company’s goals, business, and values.

Reporting:
Will report to the Quality Assurance Specialist and will take direction from other QA team members as needed. The position will be required to work collaboratively with other departments including Technology, Product Marketing, Client Services, and others throughout the Company.
Location:
Waltham, Massachusetts. Telecommuting is not an option.
