Data and Technical Support Specialist

Technology Team:

The Technology team is responsible for creating and maintaining all of Integrity’s web and multi-media products for the Company’s Ethics and Compliance Risk Services, and deploying these products globally to Fortune 500 clients. We are growing quickly and tackling some ripe new markets, and because the team is small, you will have lots of opportunity to work on different product areas, projects, and problems, with plenty of variety and new challenges on a continual basis. We’re looking for a Specialist who will do a lot more than just perform assigned tasks – we want people with ideas, energy, and a team attitude, who are always looking to fulfill the Company’s business objectives.

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for data analysis and operations including the import and reporting of client program information and resolving technical support issues and/or problems in a timely manner. This person will learn the internals of all Company technology offerings and be able to provide and implement timely technical solutions in support of our clients. These solutions might include custom data queries, and production modifications, as needed. This role is involved in customer implementations and longer term projects that are production related. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Data Specialist
  • Work with Database Administrator to improve tools and processes for the Data Operations team;
  • Perform custom data enhancements and validation as needed;
  • Convert client data into standard Integrity format utilizing custom MS Access and SQL Server front-end applications; and
  • Work closely with Client Managers and clients to create report specifications to meet the clients’ ad hoc reporting needs.
  • Technical Support Generalist
  • Provide technical client support for Company products and solutions;
  • Assist with development and management of new services and custom reporting; and
  • Assist with technical aspects of customer implementations.
  • Manage all workflow appropriately to meet schedule dates; and
  • Complete other projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

This position requires hands-on experience; candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in related area of study and minimum 5 years experience. Due to the global scope and scale of clients, this position requires flexibility, ability and willingness to work off-hours. The successful candidate will have the following skills:

  • Excellent technical problem solving skills and experience in software and database support;
  • In-depth knowledge across several products and supporting databases in order to troubleshoot complex problems across multiple platforms and applications;
  • Demonstrated competence to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects while maintaining operational excellence and data integrity within tight timeframes;
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a high degree of integrity and discretion required; must be able to effectively communicate with technical and nontechnical team members;
  • Requires the following technical skills: Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 and T-SQL experience are required; experience with .NET and C# a plus;
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, small-team environment with the ability to work independently and with the team; and
  • Understand and support the Company’s goals, business and values.

Reporting:

Will report to the Vice President, Product Development and will work closely with all members of the IT, Development and Client Services teams, and others throughout the Company as needed.

Location:

Waltham, Massachusetts; position may require occasional overnight travel. Telecommuting is not an option.

Compensation and Benefits:
