Application Developer (Mid-Level)
Technology Team:
The Technology team is responsible for creating and maintaining all of Integrity’s web and multi-media products, and deploying these products globally to Fortune 500 clients. We are growing quickly and tackling some ripe new markets, and because the team is small, you will have lots of opportunity to work on different product areas, projects, and problems, with plenty of variety and new challenges on a continual basis. We’re looking for smart developers who will do a lot more than just complete assigned tasks – we want people with ideas, energy, and a can-do attitude, who are always looking to raise themselves and their team to the next level of performance.
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for performing a variety of development tasks in support of the Company’s business objectives. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborating with product management, UI designers, testers, architects, and project managers to define, analyze, design, scope, build, deliver, and enhance existing and new applications;
- Playing a lead technical role in the design and implementation of significant functional and architectural areas of Integrity’s products;
- Participating within and helping to evolve the agile software development process;
- Continually managing time to maximize results and minimize waste, identify and mitigate risk, raise questions and issues, coordinate work, and communicate progress;
- Developing or incorporating tools to help support and improve Integrity’s development, testing, and deployment processes;
- Evaluating and integrating 3rd party technologies into existing applications;
- Keeping abreast of the latest technologies and best practices, and helping to integrate them into Integrity’s products and processes; and
- Other projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in related area of study and a minimum of four years hands-on experience in a web environment. The successful candidate will have the following skills:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are required; attention to detail is a must, with the ability to meet tight deadlines while providing quality products;
- Strong working knowledge of web technologies is essential, including experience with C#, ASP.NET, XML, and JavaScript; experience with XSL, VBScript, CSS, ASP and XHTML is preferred, but not required;
- Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts with a working knowledge of SQL;
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, small-team environment with the ability to work independently and with the team; and
- Understand and support the Company’s goals, business, and values.

Reporting:
Will report to the Vice President, Product Development and will work closely with all Development Team members and others throughout the Company as needed.
Location:
Avon, Connecticut or Waltham, Massachusetts. Telecommuting is not an option.
